ScoreCard

As investors, we face increasing complexity. At the end of 1990, there were 2,395 mutual funds.  However by the end of 2012, there were 7,238 mutual funds available to investors.  Morningstar’s analysis for U.S. News of survivor bias shows as well that 7 percent of mutual funds closed each year between 2001 and 2012.  Additionally, consider the number of exchange traded funds, and individual stocks & bonds.  The choices can be overwhelming.

Our Fiduciary ScoreCard utilizes a computerized tracking of 624 model investment portfolios.  These model portfolio are segmented by aggressive growth, growth, moderate growth, moderate, conservative growth, conservative and capital preservation.

In addition to one-, three- and five-year average returns, we rate the portfolio’s risk by standard deviation from its average return and measure its risk adjusted performance.
